A remote Highland cottage in the heart of Glen Affric — run by the An Teallach Mountaineering Club
Features

Accommodation
The accommodation consists of a loft bedroom that sleeps 8 and a downstairs bedroom that sleeps 4.
Single beds and mattresses with pillows and pillow slips are provided. Guests will need a sleeping bag.

Facilities
The main living area has lighting via solar power charged batteries. A generator is provided for wintertime when there may be insufficient day light to charge the batteries, alternative battery lights are also provided. Cooking by gas; all kitchenware, tea towels, toilet rolls, general consumables etc provided; heating is provided by a wood burning stove, there is also a drying room with its own heating stove.
Ample seasoned firewood is stored at the property.
Running water is available in the Summer (Apr-Oct), in the Winter guests will need to collect water from the nearby River Affric. Flushing toilet and sinks. Water provided is not drinking quality.

Access
By public road from Cannich to E end of Loch Affric, then rough track. Important: access is strictly for two vehicles only; if the two-vehicle rule is broken then the concession to use the track may be lost. Parking within 200 yards of hut. There is no vehicle access across the River Affric bridge.

Formed in 1989 by colleagues of H.M. Customs & Excise, An Teallach has always been open to all members of the public.
